Thanks for all the responses to the site mail poll. The reaction has been positive so far and I'm loving all the various opinions. So far, the vast majority want the Rockies to stay put at Coors. So, that's where they will stay for sure! As for the owner of the year idea, I'm scraping it. Most people seem to think it would only be a popularity contest - and that's no fun. I'm still not sure about the min. win rule...
And finally, a few people said they really want to figure out a way to get the most voters for the Hall of Fame. I'm thinking the best way to do that is for people to simply make their votes public on the board. When you vote, take a quick moment to post on the league board who you voted for. Also, I've begun a project on excel that I will post on our blog when it comes close for voting time that will plot who the best players are in every major statistical category, as well as how many all star appearances they've had, and awards they've won. All this information is available already, but it doesn’t present in a clean manner. I’ll break it down to show who the best are overall and by position. I don’t think it’s good to have only 1B and DHs in our Hall of Fame.
